Sucre’s Set Menu in Soho: A Taste of Argentina

At Sucre, our cooking is rooted in the traditions of Argentina, brought to life through fire, exceptional produce, and a contemporary approach to flavour. Set within a 310-year-old building on Great Marlborough Street, our Argentinian restaurant in Soho brings together the spirit of Buenos Aires and the energy of London.

Our set menu in Soho offers a chance to experience this philosophy at lunch, with two courses for £19.50 or three courses for £24, available Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 16:00.

What makes Sucre’s cooking different?

At the heart of our kitchen is the parrilla, our open-fire grill, where ingredients are cooked over wood and charcoal to develop depth, texture and natural flavour. Fire is not simply a cooking method at Sucre, it is an essential part of how we approach food.

Our menus draw on Argentine traditions while reflecting the influences that have shaped the country’s cuisine over generations. Spanish and Italian influences sit alongside asado culture, creating dishes that feel familiar yet distinctly Sucre.

Our set menu follows the same philosophy, bringing together dishes designed around the quality of the ingredients and the character of the fire.

What can you expect from our set lunch menu in Soho?

The menu is structured around Small, Large and Dessert plates, with two courses available for £19.50 and three courses for £24.

Small plates currently include smoked beetroot with cashew cream and pickled walnuts, Argentine chorizo with Moscatel peppers, and pan con tomate with Cantabrian anchovy and lardo.

For something more substantial, guests can choose from dishes including aubergine with burnt pepper or Argentine rump, with the latter available with a £10 supplement.

To finish, our olive oil cake with honey ricotta and apricot brings together gentle sweetness and richness in a dessert that reflects the ingredient-led approach at the heart of our cooking.

The smoked beetroot and aubergine dishes are marked vegan on the current menu. If you have allergies or particular dietary requirements, please let our team know when booking.

Prices include VAT; a discretionary service charge of 13.5% is added to the bill. Dishes and availability may change, so please check the current lunch menu before your visit.

Pre-theatre dining in Soho: From Lunch to the West End

Our set menu is designed not only for lunch, but for those looking to make an afternoon or evening of their time in Soho.

The same menu is available as our Pre and Post Theatre Menu, served Monday to Saturday from 16:00 to 18:00 and again from 21:00 to 23:00. It makes an easy choice before a West End show, or a relaxed way to continue the evening afterwards.

With Oxford Circus just five minutes away, Sucre is perfectly placed for lunch near Oxford Circus, a day spent exploring Soho, shopping along Regent Street or heading into the West End.

A dining room shaped by history

Sucre sits within the former concert hall of the London College of Music, a remarkable setting where historic details meet contemporary design.

Above the dining room, more than a thousand cut-glass decanters form our distinctive chandeliers, while marble columns and patterned seating bring character to the space. At the far end of the room, our open kitchen puts the parrilla and the rhythm of the fire directly into view.

The result is a dining experience where the setting is as much a part of the atmosphere as the food itself.

Our restaurant is also featured in the Michelin Guide, recognised for its former concert hall setting and Latin American cooking over the open fire of the parrilla

Why choose Sucre for set-menu dining in Soho?

Every dish on our set menu is also available on our à la carte menu, making the set menu an opportunity to enjoy some of the dishes from our wider kitchen at a considered lunch price.

Our smoked beetroot and aubergine with burnt pepper, for example, are available individually on the à la carte.

To accompany lunch, our wine list offers around 400 bottles, with a strong focus on Argentina and Latin America. By the glass, selections include wines from Argentina and Uruguay, alongside an extensive collection of bottles chosen to complement our fire-led cooking.

Whether you are joining us for lunch, meeting friends before a show, or looking for pre-theatre dining in Soho, our set menu brings together the flavours, traditions and spirit that define Sucre.
